Do I need a fill?

I have a appointment on Monday for a fill. Do I need One? I can eat about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of food at a time. I have PB or up chucked about 4 time in the last 2 weeks. One was on bread, I will no longer try to eat it. One was on spaghetti, I think it was the ground beef, so skipping ground beef. And one was chicken salad, chicken was dry and it was in a restaurant, Poo that sucked the 1st restaurant PB. I had leftovers last night and thought all was well and nope up it came. Too dry. Is this just learning what I can eat or am I at the green zone? I still get hungry between meals after about 3 hours and a small snack helps. But I have only dropped a few lbs the past 2 weeks. Do I need a fill????????? Oh PS I am liquids today.

The answer to that question always seems like such a personal thing. You ask if you are just learning or if you are in the green zone. And I'd think it's probably both. I have never pb'ed but I was getting stuck A LOT and ultimately had to get an unfill (of a whopping 0.2cc's). What you are describing now, to me, seems like it's a good place to be.

But only you know what you need/want.

It might not be a bad thing to go in and talk to them and tell them all this. They may say you're in a good spot...and they may say 0.2cc's is what you need.

Were it me...I'd leave it alone. Anything more and you are likely to have a lot more things come off the "able to eat" list. And I, personally, want that list as short as possible.

I agree with LD. It sounds like you're in a good place and the PBs indicate you have restriction.

Hi Christine!

I too was PB'g and Slimeing between Fills. But mostly, I found that it was my fault. Meaning I didn't chew enough, or ate too fast, etc. I continued to get Fills and now feel like I am finally at my "Sweet Spot", at least for now!

Have you decided whether or not you will be attending your "Group Meeting" in Medford? And if so, will you be able to either meet us for an early Dinner or after the Meeting for Drinks? Please let me know.

I would talk it over with your doctor, not losing more weight doesn't neccessarily mean you need a fill. If you are PB'ing then you are tight enough. A fill I really think would only make it worse. I would get back to basics (which is not easy!) measure, eat slow etc. and see how it goes for a few more days.

Thanks for getting back to me about meeting Christine!

Too bad we couldn't meet, but I do understand. It isn't like you actually live in town, where it would be easy to meet up, and it is a work night for you.

Maybe another time...
