6 month in Band camp
6mo,really? What a ride!
I never imagine what this would be like and do not know just how to describe the journey but here goes.
Of course it all started way befor surgery. The waiting, the hunger, the "is this really going to happen to me feeling and will it work". I had no idea what BP"S, slimming, and stuck meant. I do now.
i would do it all again and again. I have cried at the hospital in pre-op and at the Dr. office. I have gotten very angry with staff when I did not get the answers I wanted or the fills fast enough. If I can give any advice I would say slow is working wonders. I had to learn a lot and am still learning and losing. I feel better than I have in years. i am down 47 lbs and 55 to go. I am proud when I walk in a room in my size 16 jeans. and I have to say things have hot in the bedroom. wink, wink.
So I have learned that in bolg land that if you blog it you have to do it, right? Well I have not committed to to many goals. But I have come up with one I want and it is scary to put it in writing. but this is it. my oldest son, wife and granddaughter hike. Yep Hike, I always said I am not a hiker and did not want to, but this summer my son tried to get me to hike to a lake in the mountain. I told him I just wasn't ready yet. Well i saw photos of some of the lakes they hiked to and said to my self I want to go there. I love the water and to swim and the lakes are the most beautiful I have ever seen( in pics only) I want my own pictures and I want to jump in the lakes and lay in sun.
Thank you to all my followers and the help, sharing and support you have given me. I cant wait to meet all of you in person.
Love you all.
Chris

Congratulations, Christine! You have done a great job so far. I think you will really enjoy the hiking too!
Congrats on your 6 month Bandiversary! You are doing great!
See how far you've come in 6 months? You are doing so so so well!!!
You are doing great. And go for a hike. You will be glad you did (although mountain/glacier lakes are really really cold for swimming).
